Grandparents Night · Fall 2026

Take your grandkids to the show you grew up with.

A memory that lasts generations. Same story you remember — now indoors at Willow Park Baptist Church, just 25 minutes from Fort Worth. Friday and Saturday evenings plus a family-friendly Saturday 1:30pm matinee.

The same story. A whole new generation.

The Promise has been telling the life of Jesus on stage since 1989. The grandkids you bring this fall will remember the music, the costumes, the live animals, the moment Christ steps off the cross — the same way you do now.

Same 150-person professional production. Same powerful story. New indoor venue at Willow Park Baptist Church, free parking, and an early Saturday matinee that gets the whole family home before dinner.

Three generations. One afternoon they’ll remember.

“I took my mother and my grandkids. Three generations under one roof, all completely silent for two and a half hours. That doesn’t happen.”

Questions other grandparents asked.

Is the show appropriate for young grandkids?

Children of all ages are welcome. Please be aware that the fall production includes scenes depicting Jesus’ trial and crucifixion, which may be intense for very young children. The Saturday 1:30pm matinee tends to be the most family-friendly performance — brighter mood, more families in the audience, and you’ll be home before dark.

How long is the show? Will the kids sit through it?

2 hours and 30 minutes plus a 10-minute intermission. Most grandkids surprise their grandparents — the music, costumes, lights, and live animals keep them glued to their seats. If you go to the matinee, doors open at 12:30pm and the show ends around 4:10pm.

A memory that lasts generations.

Pick a weekend. Grab the grandkids. Make the kind of memory they’ll tell their own grandchildren about.
