All roles for The Promise fall season. Age ranges, vocal requirements, and special notes are listed for each role. Actors may be cast in multiple roles. All actors age 13 and over are paid a stipend.

Principal roles

  • Jesus
    Understudy only. Central role — warmth, authority, strong physical stamina required.

    Jesus as a young man. Strong vocal presence required.

    Young shepherd boy.

    One of Jesus’ closest disciples.

    Must be able to sing acapella choral music. Tenor 1 & 2 and Bass 1 & 2.

    SATB chorus. Includes Dance Corps of 12 females. 16 male, 24 female.

Important notes

Actors may be cast in multiple roles.

Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent at all rehearsals and performances.

All conflicts must be listed on your audition form. No additional conflicts can be added after being cast.

All actors age 13 and over are paid a stipend.
